A stock left bar, from your real stock numbers

Turn it on in a Product Slider, and each card with managed stock shows a small bar for what is left. Products without a stock number show no bar. Pro

Where the number comes from

WooCommerce's own stock quantity for the product. For a product without "Manage stock", no number exists, so no bar is drawn. The plugin never guesses, and it has no setting for an invented "only 3 left". What your stock says is what the visitor sees.

The bar above

The bars in the demo use sample numbers, as the products are samples. They are labelled as such. Bars in your shop move as your stock moves. Since the number is rendered with the page, a page cache can make it a little out of date, for as long as your cache lasts. If that matters on a fast-selling item, shorten the cache time for that page.

Is showing stock wise?

It helps when stock is truly low and the product is one people want: limited runs, small batches, handmade work. It does little with a full warehouse, where a full bar says "nobody is buying this", so there it is best left off. Some shops show it only in a sale row, which is the natural place for it.

On the product page

Product Stage shows a stock line by words instead, such as "In stock" or "Only a few left", and that line follows the variation chosen. It is free. So for product pages you may not need the bar at all. The bar is a setting for rows of products, where a glance has to do it.

Combining with the sale countdown

Both can be on one card, and both use real data, which together makes a strong and truthful sale card. Use two signals only for real sales, because too many at once start to look like shouting, and they make people trust the shop less.
