A best sellers slider that keeps itself up to date
Set Products to Best sellers. The block reads WooCommerce's own sales totals, so the row changes when your sales do, and you never edit it again. Free
Where the order comes from
WooCommerce keeps a total of sales per product, and this source orders by that. It covers all time, not this month: a product that sold well two years ago can still be near the top. If that's a problem in your shop, hand-pick the products instead, or use a tag such as "popular now", and order by date.
New shops
Without orders, the numbers mean nothing, and "best sellers" is simply a guess made by a database. Until you have real sales, say a few dozen orders, it's better and more honest to hand-pick, and to call the row "Our favourites".
A place that works
High on a home page, or beside a short text about the shop: the best sellers beside text pattern does this. Two products in view next to a sentence keep a row from overpowering what you have to say. For a full row, three or four in view on desktop is common, and people will drag it on a phone.
What to show on the cards
Price and button, as these are the products people buy most, and they need the least convincing. Star ratings help too if you have enough of them, and there's a switch for that. Don't add "best seller" badges made up elsewhere. The heading already says it.
Hide what you cannot sell
Your best seller is the product most likely to be sold out. Turn on "hide sold-out products", or the row will open with something nobody can buy. It is a sidebar setting. Sold-out products come back when they are back in stock, without your editing the row.
