Your upsells in a slider, on the product page
WooCommerce lets you set upsells on each product, and normally shows them in a static grid. With the source set to Upsells, a Product Slider shows those same products in a row. Free
What an upsell is
In WooCommerce terms, an upsell is a product you would rather have the shopper buy instead of the one in front of them: the bigger size, the better model. They are hand-picked in the product's Linked Products tab. A plugin can't choose them well for you, because only you know what's really better. If you leave that tab empty, there is nothing to show.
Setting it up
Open the Single Product template, add a Product Slider below the product, and set Products to Upsells. Give it a heading that says what's on offer, such as "The bigger one", not the WooCommerce default. Remove the theme's own upsell display, or you will show them twice. The block's source works per product by itself, so one template serves all products.
A row that is good for this
Few products, usually two to four. So set fewer in view than you would for related products, and turn off looping, because a row of three that goes round looks silly. Parallax or a slow stretch is enough motion. The price must be visible all the time here, as the comparison of prices is the whole point. So keep name and price always on rather than on hover.
What it does not do
It has no pricing rules, bundle discounts or "buy both" offers. Those are for dedicated upsell plugins. And it does not show anything outside product pages. For the cart, see cross-sells, which WooCommerce treats differently.
Measuring it
With Pro, a slider has its own numbers for views, clicks, add to carts, orders and revenue, per product. That gives you a real answer as to whether upsells sell in your shop. See slider analytics.
