Fold transition for WooCommerce product sliders
Oat wool coat
€340
Drag the picture sideways and hold: you can stop in the middle of the move.
The picture folds away to the left like a page being turned, and the next product is underneath. It has a direction, a hinge and a shadow of paper in it.
People know what comes after a page, so a fold quietly tells them that there is more to see.
Comes with Pro. Pro starts at $19 a year.
Put it on
- Lookbooks and fashion
- It turns a slider into a magazine, which is often the point of a lookbook.
- Books, stationery, wrapping paper
- The product is made of the same stuff as the move.
- Tall portrait photos
- The hinge travels the full height, which looks elegant on a tall crop.
Keep it off
- Sliders with text in the photo
- Sale banners baked into the picture crease mid-sentence.
- Right-to-left shops
- It always folds to the left, which runs against the reading direction there.
Settings
In the block the time of a move is a setting on every transition. Everything else on this list comes from gpu slider, which draws it.

In the block, in three steps
- Add the Product Slider block to your page, and under Products choose one category.
- Set Layout to One at a time, then pick Fold under Transition. It comes with Pro.
- Use a tall crop if your theme allows. Compare a square and a 4:5 slider and keep the one that feels more like a magazine.
