Studio, everything on the picture and nothing under it

A small chip with the name sits at the top of the picture and one with the price at the foot, with a round plus beside it. The card is exactly as tall as its photo, like a contact sheet from a studio. Pro

A card that is all image

As nothing goes below the picture, a row or a grid lines up in perfect squares, whatever the names are. That makes it strong for ranges with a shared look, such as skincare or a set of ceramics shot against one wall. It reads as art direction, and the details are still in plain sight.

The moment of pointing

When pointed at, the plus opens into the full add to cart button, and the price chip fades out to give it the room. The name stays at the top, so nobody loses track of what they are buying, and the price comes back as soon as the pointer leaves. On a phone the plus stays a plus and the price stays visible.

What it does to photos

Two strips of the picture are partly covered, one at the top left and one along the foot, and the middle stays open. A product standing in the centre of a square photo is untouched. A badge for a sale moves up from the price chip so that the two do not collide.

Questions

Does this work with variable products?

Yes. The button becomes a link to the product page for products that need a choice first, as it does in every design.

How is it different from Sticker?

Sticker puts the name under the picture and the price on a circle. Studio keeps both on the picture in plain chips, so it is quieter and the card is shorter.
