Round, the picture in a circle
The picture is cut to a circle, with the name, the price and a pill-shaped button centred underneath. When pointed at, the picture moves slightly closer inside its circle. Pro
A softer row
Circles take the hard edge off a shop, and that suits skincare, food, baby products and anything sold on being gentle. They also make a good small row: categories, a set of refills, a short list of gifts. In a long grid a lot of circles leave a lot of white corners, which can look thin.
What your photos need
The corners of every photo disappear, so the product has to sit in the middle with room around it. A flat lay shot from above is ideal, and anything held in a hand or cropped close will suffer. It is worth trying a whole row of your own photos before you decide on this one.
With effects on the images
The circle belongs to the plain picture. An effect draws on a canvas across the row, and the shape then depends on what the effect does with its slides, so look at it before keeping both. The closer look on hover is part of the design, and a second picture on hover comes in inside the same circle.
Questions
Are the buttons round too?
Yes, the button turns into a pill to match, whatever shape your theme gives it elsewhere.
Does the name get cut?
A long name ends with an ellipsis so that the centred stack keeps its shape.
