Ticket, the picture above and the stub below
A dashed line runs across the card under the picture, with a round notch cut at each end. Everything you can act on sits on the stub below it, on a faint tint of your text colour. Pro
Where it makes sense
Limited runs, events, tastings, a weekly coffee, anything with the feel of being allocated. It gives a card a small joke without getting in the way of the sale, and it reads at once. On a row of ordinary everyday products it may be more character than the products can carry.
How it is built
The tint behind the card is your text colour at low strength, and the notches are your background colour, so they look punched out of the card on any theme. That only works when the block sits directly on the page background. Inside a coloured group, the notches will show that they are circles.
Name and price
They share a line while they fit, with the button under them at full width. A sale price or a long name wraps the price onto its own line and never cuts the name in order to keep it. Look at the row with your longest names, since a wrapped card is one line taller than the others beside it.
Questions
Are the cards still one height?
Yes. They stretch to the tallest in the row, and the buttons stay at the foot.
Can I use it on a coloured section?
Set the section to the theme's base colour, or choose another design, as the notches take that base colour.
