Sticker, the price stuck on the picture
The price moves onto a round sticker at the top of the picture, tilted a few degrees. In the opposite corner a round plus waits, and it opens into a full add to cart button when the card is pointed at. Pro
Where it earns its place
People see the price before anything else, so use it where the price is part of the appeal: drops, sales, gifts under a set amount. It has some energy without being loud, and sneakers, snacks and playful brands can carry it. A row of quiet luxury goods probably should not.
Two small movements
When a card is pointed at, the sticker straightens and grows a little, with a slight bounce, and the plus slides open into words. These two movements cost almost nothing, and they invite a look at the next card. People who asked for less motion get the same states without the animation.
Sale prices and photos
On a sale the old price goes small above the new one, inside the circle, which grows just enough to hold them. Look at the top right corner of your photos: a plain wall is ideal, while a product filling the frame loses a little corner. Only the name sits under the picture, cut with an ellipsis if it runs long.
Questions
What does the plus do on a phone?
It adds to the cart when tapped, and stays a plus, as a touch screen has no hover to open it with. Its name for screen readers is your add to cart text.
Does the sticker use my colours?
Yes, your theme's contrast colour with its base colour on top, so a dark theme gets the opposite sticker.
